Covid-19: help facilitate contact tracing

Coronavirus / Covid-19

The Ministry of Health is urging people who test positive for Covid-19 to self-isolate as soon as they receive their results from the laboratory.

If a person is informed that he or she has been in high-risk contact with a person who has tested positive, the Ministry recommends that they go into self-isolation.

The contact tracing unit will contact them as soon as possible.

In order to be able to continue managing contact tracing, it is essential not to call the hotline immediately, but to wait for the contact tracing unit to make contact. The participation of everyone in the tracing process will help to better control the pandemic.

To facilitate contact tracing, 2 declaration forms are available:

  • if you have tested Covid-19 positive: you must immediately go into isolation, without waiting for the contact tracing unit to call. The contact tracing unit has been informed of your result.
While waiting for their call, you can help them to trace and identify people who have had high-risk contact with you.
To do so, you need to download the form and send it to: declarationcovid@ms.etat.lu.
  • if you have been in contact with a person who has tested Covid-19 positive: you must go into self-quarantine.
To receive the necessary documents, you must fill in the form and indicate the surname and first name of the positive person or the file reference number if the Covid-19 positive person has given you their reference number.
To do this, you must download the form and send it to: declarationcovid@ms.etat.lu.
