Large Scale Testing - Adaptation of the testing stations to winter conditions

All the testing centres of the Large Scale Testing programme will undergo an adaptation to winter conditions from 14 to 21 November 2020 in order to be fully operational from Monday, 23 November 2020.

Due to local limitations at some sites, the testing procedure is adjusted during the winter period: participants are requested to park their cars and to be tested for COVID-19 by a PCR throat swab in a bus provided for this purpose. Additional staff at the sites will guide people who want to be tested.

The new testing procedure will be operational from:

  • 14 November for the testing centre in Howald;
  • 16 November for the testing centre at P&R Bouillon;
  • 17 November for the testing centre between Schinkert and "Parc Hosingen";
  • 18 November for the testing centre in Steinfort;
  • 19 November for the testing centre in Bascharage;
  • 20 November for the new testing centre in Roost which will replace the testing centre in Schieren that will close on 19 November;
  • 21 November for the testing centre in Esch-sur-Alzette on the Raemerich roundabout car park;
  • 23 November for the testing centre Grevenmacher in the direction of Machtum.
