Extension of additional aid for independent professional performing artists and entertainment workers without regular employment

Coronavirus / Covid-19

The specific additional aid scheme introduced for independent professional performing artists and entertainment workers without regular employment in the context of the health crisis is extended until 31 August 2020.

This scheme allows wider access to social assistance by lowering the condition relating to the minimum number of days worked for intermittent workers or the minimum income generated by an artistic activity during the months affected by the health crisis.

These include:

  • social assistance for self-employed professional artists with the possibility of paying them monthly social assistance up to the minimum social wage for skilled workers;
  • additional daily allowances for intermittent workers in the entertainment industry;
  • an adjustment of the conditions of access in the context of applications for entitlement to social measures.

More information on these aids and the conditions for granting them is available in our explanatory information page.
