Whenever you hire a pupil or student during the school holidays, their employment contract must be drawn up in 3 copies:
The employer sends the third copy to the Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (ITM) with a copy of the identity card of the pupil or student concerned, within 7 days following the first day of employment. The documents can be sent by standard mail. There is no specific form to be used.
More simply, the employment contract can also be submitted online directly to the ITM with the dedicated procedure created on MyGuichet.lu.
What are the advantages of an electronic submission? MyGuichet.lu is a secure platform available 24/7. Moreover, there is no longer the risk that the documents sent by standard mail are either lost underway or delivered late to the ITM.
