Certain relatives of an insured person who died before the age of 65 as a result of an occupational disease, an accident at work or a commuting accident can benefit from a survivor's pension to compensate for the loss of financial support caused by the person's death.
Depending on the case, this can be an orphan's pension or a pension of the surviving spouse or partner.
Similarly, a relative of an insured person who died as a result of an accident at work, a commuting accident, or because of an occupational disease may be eligible for compensation for moral damage. Compensation consists of a lump sum payment.
