Booking an appointment for the vision test 10 and the vision test 40

Last update

From 8 November 2021, parents and guardians who are Luxembourg residents and who have one or more children:

  • who are 10 months old; and/or
  • who are approximately 40 months old;

The vision test is voluntary. It is carried out by a qualified orthoptist who:

  • evaluates:
    • visual acuity, i.e. the ability to see a small object in the distance; and
    • refraction, i.e. a measurement of the eye to assess the possible need for an optical correction.
